"Orphan Annie Finds a Home" Postcard
Postcard group exercise #2
Since Thanksgiving was just a few days away, I thought that making a card out of an orphan block would be a great idea. This card took no time at all, & made use of what I already had at hand. It also allowed me to use a different method of edge finishing. I usually do a satin-stitch edge, but wanted to experiment with a mitered fabric finish. This was quick, easy, & a learning experience all rolled into one...so even though it's not perfect...it's still a win-win situation.

I think this one is my favorite! very nice. Do you mail them in a card envelope?
You can mail them out in an envelope, or just put a stamp on the card itself. You have to ask them @ the post office to hand cancell them.
